78Martha Maka Takata, 89, of Honolulu died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Samuel Kootaka and Eugene, Vincent and Laurence Takata; daughter Pauline; brothers Randall, Earl and Robert Simeona; sister Keala Okamura; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nuuanu. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Services: 11 am. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire.
