Tamotsu Muranaka
Feb. 23, 2015 Tamotsu "Tamo" Muranaka, 88, of Keaau, Hawaii, a boiler room supervisor at Hamakua Sugar and Hilo Coast Processing, and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Lloyd and Paul; daughters Leelynn "Kaimi" Lagat, and Tammy and Kellcia Muranaka; hanai daughters Tracey Yamane and Ashley Pacheco; brother Rodney; sisters Yaeko Nakashima and Sumie Arai; companion Barbara Mitts; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
