Betty (Akiko) Miyagawa Fukushima
BETTY (AKIKO) MIYAGAWA FUKUSHIMA 80, the last of seven siblings passed away on Friday, February 27th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born in Maui, HI on August 3, 1934 to Koichi and Sumiko Miyagawa. Shortly after graduating from McKinley High School in 1952, Betty Miyagawa married high school sweetheart, Clarence Fukushima. They got married and settled in Huntington Beach, California where they raised their two daughters. She is survived by her two daughters Lori, and Lyn, her 4 grandchildren, Kristin, Patrick, Cassidy, Nicholas, and two great grandchildren, Paige, Parker and her nieces and nephews. Betty Fukushima's ashes will be scatterred off the coast of Newport Beach, California, in a private ceremony for immediate family.
