RHODA COOK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rhoda Cook on March 8, 2015. Rhoda was born on July 24, 1938 and was raised in San Francisco, California. Her first love was dancing, including tap, ballet, and ballroom. Rhoda is preceded in death by her son Dennis Lopez. Rhoda is survived by her son Todd Cook, daughter Michelle Cook, and four grandchildren, Dustin Lopez, Donavan Lopez, Rashelle Streckfuss, and Sierra Cook. Rhoda was also a foster mother to two children. Rhoda visited Honolulu, Hawaii in 1956 for the first time. The Islands held a special charm for her. The early 1990's were a turning point for Rhoda when she moved to Waikiki in Honolulu. She had the aloha spirt! There will be no showing or service, and her body will be willed to the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii.
