Edward Edison Fergerstrom, also known as "Buddy" and Bob," 82, of Hilo, a retired Hawaiian Tel construction supervisor, a koa woodworker and a Navy veteran, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Patricia, daughters Patti-Jo Fergerstrom-Tamashiro and Cindy Fergerstrom-Palea, son Patward, sister Eleanor Wong Chong, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous hanai grandchildren and hanai great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Columbarium. Casual attire.
