Richard Isami Hanai, 88, of Aiea, an Army veteran who served in World War II and a retired Dole Cannery production control supervisor, died in Aiea. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Charlotte Y.; son Steven; daughters Natalie Hanai, Kathleen Hanai-Lee and Shelly Fukuyama; sisters Doris Hanai and Florence K. Umehira; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment: 1 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
