76Shirley Jean Peterson, 80, of Lawai, Kauai, a cashier at Aloha Petroleum and Longs, and saleswoman at R. Baird and Co., died in Honolulu. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by daughters Brenda Ruiz and Katherine L. Peterson, sister Eleanor "Cookie" Wond, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
