Ernesto Monticines Abuel, 93, of Ewa Beach, an Army veteran, died in Aiea. He was born in Magdalena, Laguna, Philippines. He is survived by sons Ernesto L. Jr., Edwin M.L., Ruben L. and Carlo G.L.; daughters Zenaida A. Tiongco and Pamela M.A.. Musni; sister Perla A. Bacalso; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 9:15 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 91-1298 Renton Road, Ewa Beach. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
