Hideyo was a retired veteran of the United States Army and Hawaiian Telephone Company. He is survived by sons, Allan Sakai, Patrick (Diana) Sakai; brothers, Wilfred (Jane) Sakai, David (Helen) Sakai, Daniel (Judy) Sakai; sister, Vicky Sakai; 6 grandchildren. Private Services were held.
