Lester Robello “Les†Sylva Sr., 69, of Honolulu, a retired Cummins Hawaii diesel engine mechanic, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Lester Jr.; daughters Germaine Hall, Rachel Gottlieb, Sharene Asuncion and Rodgene Sylva; brother Clarence; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
