79Bernadette "Cookie" Hoopii, 73, of Wailuku, a custodian at Iao Intermediate and Maui High schools, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by husband Norman Sr.; sons Malcolm Hoopii, and Anthony and Josaia Hoopii-Tuionetoa; daughter Donna; brothers Joe, Anthony and Clifford Estrella; sisters Lei Estrella, Virgie Kahaialii, and Bernice and Loretta; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
