Mathias "Joey" Dela Sierra, 77, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Waimanalo, an Army military communication retiree and veteran, died in San Jose. He was born in Waimanalo. He is survived by son Joseph, daughter Constantina D.S. Castro, brother Fausto, sister Josephine Leong and a grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Catholic Church, 41-1323 Kalanianaole Highway, Waimanalo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
