DORMAN LUM Age 91, of Kaneohe, HI, passed away May 16, 2015 after a short illness at Island Hospice at Pohai Nani. Born September 10, 1923 in Sacramento, CA. He attended Kaluwela Elementary School, Central Intermediate and was proud to be a Crusader and graduate of St. Louis High School and attended CalAero Technical Institute in Glendale, CA. Served proudly in the United States Army during World War II in the Philippines. He retired from Hickam Air Force Base where he was a Aircraft Quality Control Inspector. In his retirement he loved to travel with his wife Evelyn and family, worked as a Realtor Associate at Waikiki Realty and as a Travel Agent. He loved being a member of St. Ann's Church, the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and See Dai Doo Society. He is survived by Fred Lum; brother, Jon Lum; son, Jeffrey Lum (Erin); son, Michele Chang (Daryl); daughter, grandchildren Naomi Wilbur, Nathanael Wilbur, Micah Lum, Bailey Lum, Nikki Lum, Mikayla Lum, and faithful dog Kuro. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn, daughter Paula, sisters Doong Yau, Imm Jong, Helen Lai, June Lum, and Annie Wong. Visitation 9:30-11.00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 8, 2015 at St. Ann's Church 46-129 Haiku Rd. Kaneohe, HI 96744 with internment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy Kaneohe, HI 96744.
