Richard Takashi Kano, 86, of Waianae, a retired Hawaii Army National Guard sergeant first class, died in Kapolei. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Ruby S., son Rick, daughters Rena Espiritu and Rae Kaneshiro, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire.
