74William "Willy" Gomes Sr., 86, of Kailua-Kona, a retired ranch foreman at Huehue Ranch and former truck driver at Hamakua Plantation, died at home. He was born in Hamakua, Hawaii. He is survived by son Allen; brothers Johnny, Herbert, Clarence and George; sisters Louise Coon, Alice Hollenback, Evelyn Costa and Frances Wong; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
