81James Joseph Lewis, 71, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Police Department lieutenant, died in Lunalilo Home. He was born in Ho-nolulu. He is survived by daughters Jan Lewis Suzumoto, and Jeri Ann and Kelly L.K. Lewis; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Celebration of life: 9:30 a.m. July 11 at Lunalilo Home, 501 Kekauluohi St. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. No wreaths.
