79Esther Hew Allen, 88, of Lihue, a retired federal government employee, died in Garden Isle Health Care. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by husband William P., sons Ross Ikeda and Bill Allen, daughters Kathy Allen-Hays and Laura Valhuerdi, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
