He is survived by wife, Mary Pat Tanigawa, daughter, Taisha (Steven Brunner), brothers, Patrick A. Tanigawa (Susan) and Rodney Yamashita (Susanne), sister, Carole (Ty Takehara), sister in-law, Bella Yamashita.
