Norman Robert Freitas, 75, of Ewa Beach, a former business agent for Hawaii Carpenters Union and an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Norman R. Jr.; daughter Stacy; sisters Dorothy Adams, Evelyn Passion, Charlotte Cabral, Rosina Galdeira and Sharron Fanene; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
