He is survived by wife, Ellen Taira; son, Edric Taira, daughters, Edlynn Taira, Erlynn (Kent) Sakata; sisters, Violet (Joe) Yamaji, Dorothy (Elmer) Omori, Florence (Peruvia) Goodness; 2 grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Tuesday 7/28 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers, please.
