Kirino "Chris" Salomon, 85, of Ookala, Hawaii, a retired tractor operator for Hamakua Sugar Co. and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons Christopher and Dexter; daughters Judy Enocencio and Renee and Karen Salomon; sisters Carlotta Cablay and Adele Madarang; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Service: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
