80Richard Stanley Dawe, 88, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Maui, a retired laser ranging operator for the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy at Haleakala, died. He was born in Bournemouth, England. He is survived by wife Doreen, daughter Joan Ramos, half-sister Cristina Barros, three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Private services.
