73Pedro R. "Pete" Tungpalan, 79, of Waipahu died in Waipahu. He was born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Esther G.; sons Rogelio "Boy," John and Larry S.; daughter Imelda "Amie"; brothers Alfredo and Andres; sisters Anastacia Giron and Editha Rocimo; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Valley of the Temples. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
