71Benedict "Benny Boy" Raquel, 55, of Hilo, a factory worker at Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. in Keaau, Hawaii, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Laurie Ann; son Juanito; daughters Lainessa Rosenberg, Malorie R. Chesebro, Bennilynn Hiraoka and Chrystal Raquel; parents Juanita and Leonard Chesebro; brothers Warlito "Ben," Rudy and Rogelio "Peo" Raquel, and Andres "Jr." Oania; sisters Clarie "Charing" Gabriel, Karen Reyes, Valarie Peters, Milagring "Milla" Raquel and Clarita "Lita" Acdal; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: 7 p.m. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Casual attire.
