Richard Stanley Dawe, 88, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Maui, a retired laser ranging operator for the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy at Haleakala and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died. He was born in BourneÂmouth, England. He is survived by wife Doreen, daughter Joan Ramos, half sister Cristina Barros, three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Private services.
