70Rosella Mendoza Powers, 85, of Waianae, a former Avon sales representative and employee for the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program at the University of Hawaii, died in Waianae. She was born in San Isidro, Leyte, Philippines. She is survived by daughters Sheila Burgess, Barbara Nakata and Joan Hindmon; and five grandchildren. Private services.
