Shigeru Oyama, 96, of Honolulu, a retired federal inventory clerk and an Army veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Peter and Glen; daughter Donna; brothers Minoru and Gerald; sisters Iwako Ihara, Patsy Nakamura and Hideko Tomomitsu; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Inurnment: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
