His parents Thomas and Mary Violet Hegarty Dunworth as well as his brother Joseph predeceased Jerry. His siblings Mary Violet Frayne, Thomas C. Dunworth and wife Judy, Christopher T. Dunworth and wife Beth, Jane V. Dunworth and husband Paul DeDenus, and Patrick T. Dunworth and partner Wendy J. Ladka survive Jerry. Jerry grew up in New York, Cleveland, Ohio and Portola Valley, California. He valued spending his summers at the family home on Fire Island, NY where he loved swimming and surfing. Jerry was an accomplished musician and talented chess player, serving as President of the Honolulu Chess Club in 2001. A gentle soul with a great intellect and sense of humor, he will be missed.
