Hiram Hajime Tasaka, 92, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Police Department captain and an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Mike, sisters Edith Matsumura and Gladys Uehara, and two grandchildren. Private services.
