Valentine James Lopez, 91, of Waipahu, a Navy veteran who served in World War II, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Fairmont City, Ill. He is survived by sons Dwight Lopez and Everett Ching; daughters Gwendolyn Elder, Deborah Grant and Valerie Lopez; brother Gregory; sister Victoria Arambula; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers.
