CECILIA LEIMOMI OKU GASPER TEIXEIRA Died on August 23, 2015 at the age of 88. Born on July 9, 1927 to John and Lucy Oi Wah Oku. She was a packer forelady at Dole Pineapple Cannery for 27 years. Then she worked for the DOT for 7 years and retired from DOT in 1983 at the age of 56 years old. She loved music. She loved to sing. She played the ukulele, guitar and piano. Later in her life she enjoyed singing karaoke with her children at family gatherings. Preceded in death by Theodore Teixeira (husband), Yolanda Leialoha (Eddie) Sanchez (daughter), Teo Gasper Jr. (ex-husband) and Teo Gasper Ill (son). Survived by Sister - Teresa Lau; 5 children - Luana Rose Mae Stafford, John Alan Gasper, Yvonne Leimomi Gasper, Lucianne Kuuipo(Robert) Lagapa, Susan (Jerry) Nicholson(step daughter); 10 grandchildren - Paul K. Gasper(Andrea), Jimmy L. Stafford (Yvonne), Shawn K. Stafford (Julie), Jory E. Sanchez (Lesley), Justin V. Sanchez, Robert B. Lagapa (Tara), Verna K. Knouse, Marisa S. Gasper, Jessica R. Sturgill (Mark), Chad Nicholson (step grandson); 14 great grandchildren - Alssya, Deshawn, Gabrielle, Hoku, Ashleigh, Isaiah, Chris, Shantel, Chloe, Monica, Devan, Grant, Ke'olani & Shannan; 2 great-great-grandchildren - Sophia and Leah.
