ALMIRANTE AL MENTE LAIZ BANGASAN Age 85, of Ewa Beach, HI, passed away August 9, 2015 in Honolulu, HI. Born April 15, 1930 in Sto. Tomas Candon, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and Supply Officer for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Member of Candonian and Anak Ti Daya and an avid bowler. He is survived by wife, Francisca Y. Bangasan; sons, Remal (Mog Park) Bangasan, Almirante (Darlene) Bangasan, Jr., Don (Jenny Richards) Bangasan; brother, Dionisio Bangasan; sister, Esperanza Bangasan; grandchildren, Glory, Shannon, Shelton, Brianna, Cameron, Celina, Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Nolan, Brayden. Visitation 9:30 a.m., Monday (Sept. 14) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (91-1004 North Rd., Ewa Beach). Mass 11:00 a.m. Committal service to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
