EDWARD "ED" KEAWE THOMAS In the early morning hours of September 3, 2015, Edward "Ed" Keawe Thomas passed away in his home in Aiea, Hawaii. Ed lost his struggles with medical issues. He was just 50 years old. Ed was born at Kapiolani Hospital on March 6, 1965. He was the youngest of the five children of Elizabeth "Lani" Maielua Thomas and Frederick "Fred" Thomas. Ed graduated from Castle High School and was an avid sports follower. He was the primary care giver for his father Fred and his beloved mother Lani, until her passing in 2001. Ed was preceded in death by his mother Lani and his older brother Michael. Ed is survived by his father, Fred Thomas of Aiea, Hawaii; his older brother Raymond Thomas (Dawn) of Honolulu, Hawaii; and his older sisters, Laura Pravettoni (Peter) of Lewisville, Texas and Debbie Thomas (Denise) of Tucson, Arizona. Ed is also survived by nieces Lani Morales of Electric City, Washington, Nani Olquin (Mike) of Castroville, California. Kaui Thomas of Honolulu, Hawaii. Great Nieces, Mikaela, Myleene and Mailani Olquin and Kaiya Thomas. Memorial Services will be held on Sat, September 12 at 10:00am located at Moanalua Mortuary 1150 Kikowaena St. Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. Casual attire. No flowers. Reception to follow.
