81Melvin Charles Ah Sing, 79, of Hilo, a Hawaii County traffic and safety foreman, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Audrey; son Charles; daughter Mary Nani Spies; brothers Ray and Walter; sisters Rosemarie Ciaramitaro, Agnes Ah Sing and Betty Lou Melanson; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
