79James Kimo "Sonny" Kahoilua, 85, of Keaukaha, Hawaii, an employee of Hilo Ironworks and Hughes Aircraft and a scuba diving instructor, died at home. He was born in Keaukaha. He is survived by sons James Jr. and Ted; daughters Jeanne Minahan, and Jeanette, Pauline and Margaret C. Kahoilua; sisters Annie Kahoilua and Naomi Wilson; and numerous grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hilo Stake Center. Services: 10 a.m. Urn committal to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
