WENDY RAY Wendy Ray, 56, died August 25, 2015, after a two-year battle against cancer. Wendy moved from her hometown in New Hampshire to Hawaii in 1982. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hawaii, after which she pursued her passion for environmental protection. She worked at NSGA Kunia as a Environmental Protection Specialist and Pearl Harbor Naval Base as the Operations Manager Navy Recycling Center. She was last employed by the Hawaii Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. She leaves behind her partner, Kathy Ho, and their daughters Mara and Megan; her mother, Dorothy; her siblings, Rand, Susan, and Steven; sisters-in- law, Cleanne and Lisa; nephew, Schuyler; and many, many loving and supportive friends. Wendy will be remembered in a celebration of life on October 2.
