74David Yin Wah "Kawika" Hew, 36, of Kailua, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by parents Randall Y.T. Hew and Terry Lynne M. Werning; stepfather the Rev. Daniel J. Werning; stepmother Hong; daughters Alyssa H. Maring-Hew, Prycia Gonda-Hew and Sasha A. Masek; and daughters' mothers Naomi A. Maring, Gloria "Tita" Gonda and Suhi Masek.
