75Shozo Taketa, 87, of Hilo, retired vice president of the HPM Building Supply lumber department, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Holualoa, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Jettijean Kelii and Laurisa Nishimoto, sons Russel and Dennis, brother Tadao, sisters Setsuko Yamagata and Taeko Mukawa, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Hilo, 840 Kupulau Road. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
