William "Mac" Puou Jr., 83, of Opihihale, Hawaii, a ranger, demonstrator and maintenance worker at Puu Honua o Honaunau City of Refuge, a farmer and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Opihihale. He is survived by wife Darlyne; sons William III, Rodney, Michael, Aaron and Jerred; daughter Trisha; brothers Joseph, Lawrence and Danny; sisters Julia Waters and Constance Freeman; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Oct. 16 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Services at the pavilion and burial to follow. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
