Robert Tomiya Sato, 97, of Honolulu, a retired Manoa Finance senior vice president and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Infantry Battalion, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Kazue, daughters Barbara Low and Pauline Sato, and two grandchildren. Celebration of life: 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Club, 520 Kamoku St. Committal services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
