Robert Yukio Yakabe, 83, of Honolulu, a retired city building inspector and retired Air Force technical sergeant, died at home. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Debbie M.; sons Keith Aaron Y. and Lance Kevin Y.; daughters Eydie Andrea S. Maeda and Lea-Ann Joyce H. Yakabe; brother Charles; sisters Lillian Yoshimoto, Katherine Gima and Annette Yamada; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
