81Despina S. White, 89, of Honolulu, formerly of Macon, Ga., a retired University of Georgia history professor, died in Maunalani Nursing Facility. She was born on Crete, Greece. She is survived by son Darrell T., daughter Nora L. Appleton, sister Lucy Pandelides, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services to be held in Macon.
