ROY LESTER HUSSEY, SR. Age 72, of Waimanalo, Oahu, Hawaii passed away on October 26, 2015. Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii and moved to Honolulu. He passed away surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Roy was man loved, admired and respected by his family and friends. He was known to all by Dad, Papa and Hussey by his fellow friends. Roy was known not only as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Hawaiian Dredging and Construction, but he was also a known for his boat building skills which included boats, canoes and kayaks. He loved motorcycle riding, and going to the Drag Races. He loved his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren and will be remembered and missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Nani Hussey, Sons Roy, Jr. (Amelia) Shannon (Noelani) Troy (Veronica), daughters, Rhonda, Kelly "Miki", Joy Kam, 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Services at St. Anthony Padua Catholic Church in Kailua, 148 Makawai Street, Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii on November 30, 2015. Visitation 9-11 am, service to follow. Luncheon to follow at Kin Wah Restaurant in Kaneohe, Hawaii at 1pm. Cremation no burial/ no scattering of ashes. Aloha Attire. No flowers.
