Walter Kon Chang, 97, of Honolulu, a Hickam Air Force Base civilian employee, teacher, Mun Lun Chinese School vice principal and an Army veteran, died in Alameda, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Wayne, daughter Doreen, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Borthwick Mortuary, 1330 Maunakea St., Honolulu.
