Shuichi Tanaka, 84, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Education math and science curriculum specialist and an Army veteran, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Moira H. and sons David J.S. and Dr. Robert I.K. "Bobby." Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
