Stephen Eugene Champieux, 66, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a wildlife rehabilitator and a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Burbank, Calif. He is survived by parents Robert and Isabel; sisters Diane Miller, Jane Nelson, Christine Bissonnette and Roberta Dixon; and brother Roger. Private services.
