BETTY ANN WALKER Betty Ann Walker passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Dec. 12th. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jimmy and Alice Bush on Oct. 24, 1925. She moved to Southern California as a baby and lived in Manhattan Beach and then Huntington Beach before moving to Hawaii 8 years ago to be closer to her daughter and her family. Betty was an avid runner and attributed her long healthy life to her love of running. She was happiest when doing for others, and enjoyed being involved with many different organizations, South Bay Hospital, Girl Scouts, Little League, The Assistance League of Huntington Beach, Castle Hospital and as a full time volunteer for many years with the Huntington Beach Jr. Life Guards. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Walker. She is survived by her son Craig (DeeRay) Walker, and her daughter Melissa (Charles) Aiona. Grandchildren Chris Walker, Heather (Dan) Meronk, Tiffany (Davidson) Brooks and Tiger (Carrie) Hill and great grandchildren Keanu, Bronson, Teah, Selah, Samson, Shine, Seven, Abraham and Eden. Please join us as we celebrate a life well lived Jan 2nd 10:00 am at Pohai Nani Retirement home in Kaneohe; her ash scattering to follow on Sunday morning at 8:00 A.M.at the Kailua Canoe Club Site in Kailua. In lieu of flowers.. please make donations to "Friends of the Jr. Life Guard" 103 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach Calif. 92648. Betty will be missed by many...but her wonderful generous spirit will live on in her children, grandchildren and great grand children.
