72Clare Leroy Hiner, 91, of Kihei, Maui, a commercial fisherman for king crab fisheries in Cook Inlet and Kodiak, Alaska, died at home. He was born in Nebraska. He is survived by wife Betty, son Todd, daughter Lucinda Neel, sister Patricia Moffett, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Jan. 18 at The Faith in Jesus Church.
