83Ruth Ann Santos, 65, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Education teacher, died. She was born in Kansas City. She is survived by husband Rainer, sons Michael and Eric, daughter Samantha Roque, hanai daughter Jensten Andrade, brother Daniel DiGusto and sister Julie Winfree.
