SHIZUE OSHIRO Age 83 of Lanai City, passed away peacefully at South Bay Keiro Nursing Home in Gardena, California, surrounded by love. Shizue was born in Makawao, Maui and raised in Okinawa. She was a dedicated homemaker and seasonal cafeteria worker for Dole and Marriott on Lanai. Shizue was a member of the Lanai Hongwanji Mission and Lanai Ryuku Club. She is predeceased by her husband, Shichiro. Loved by daughters, Helen Ohashi (Walter Oshiro) and Ada (John) Coleman; sons, Creighton (Colette) and Leighton (Gayle) and 9 grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held on Oahu at Jodo Mission on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Visitation 10:00 am Service 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
